Today is Veterans Day. Thank a vet today for their service to you and your family.

From: The Marietta Daily Journal – Veterans Day events in Cobb

Veterans Day is a national holiday honoring all veterans and commemorating those who are deceased. Formerly known as Armistice Day, it is observed annually on Nov. 11, the day on which the armistice ending World War I between the Allies and Germany was signed at Compiegne, France. As history notes, it was signed “on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.”
