04/22 – ETF Trading – EWH, IYR, URE

Good morning. Not many etf trades on my stock screener this morning; however, I do have a suggestion for today.

Put EWH on your etf watch list, again. Take an initial position should this etf close lower today. An updated chart is posted below.

EWH – iShares MSCI Hong Kong Index Fund (the Fund) seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of publicly traded securities in the aggregate in the Hong Kong market, as measured by the MSCI Hong Kong Index (the Index).

All trades are at the market close. Please trade responsibly.

For those of you held on to IYR or URE for the RSI(2)>70 signal, you were amply rewarded yesterday. Your trade in IYR gained 3.86% and URE gained 7.80% !

04/21 – ETF Trading – Gains on IYR, URE

I took the gains on IYR and URE. Both closed above their 5 day moving average and just short of the RSI(2) moving above 70. We gained 1.95% on IYR and 4.12% on URE. All in a 3 day trade!

All trades were at the market close. Updated charts are posted below.

Our signal for EWH did not trigger yesterday. As such, we did not enter the trade.

I have no other etf trading opportunities to suggest for today. The broader market is becoming over bought – a stock market pull-back will trigger some new etf trading signals.

04/20 – ETF Trading – IYR, URE, EWH

The broader market rebounded yesterday. As such, our entry signals for SPY and SSO did not trigger.

However, we still have our first trading position in IYR and/or URE from Friday. IYR closed higher but not enough to trigger our exit signals – ditto for URE. Updated charts are posted below.

We’ll scale in with up to three 3 positions. So, take a second trading position should IYR close lower today – lower than our initial entry price on Friday. The same for URE. Otherwise, our exit signals are triggered when the etf price is greater than it’s MA(5), or – for a potentially larger gain – when the RSI(2) is greater than 70.

Not all etfs rebounded yesterday. Trading signals are still flashing for many etfs. Put EWH on your etf watch list. Take an initial position should this etf close lower today.

EWH – The iShares MSCI Hong Kong Index Fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in the Hong Kong market, as measured by the MSCI Hong Kong Index.

All etf trades are at the market close. Please trade responsibly.
