11/02 – ETF Trading – Loss on USO, SCO
Our exit signal for our short trade in USO finally triggered yesterday, unfortuately at a loss. Our loss in USO was 3.82% while our loss in the leveraged trade in SCO was 8.72%.
Though we had a loss on this trade, we still have made 17 winning trades out of 21 in the past 12 months. That’s a winning percentage of over 80%. Our goal is to produce more winning trades versus losing trades. On that goal, we’re still on track.
I have no etf trading opportunities to suggest today. We’ll wait for the broader market to make a move to present some new etf trading opportunities.
Now is a great time to learn all about etf trading strategies we use here. They’re all contained in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading. Seriously, his etf trading strategies have just a few simple rules and you’ll be able to back-test and apply the strategies to the next trading day. Get your copy today!
