10/27 – ETF Trading – Gain on EWZ

A winning trade on EWZ! Our etf exit signals for EWZ triggered yesterday and we took a gain of 2.16%. An updated chart is posted below.

We have made 29 winning trades out of 37 for the year. That’s a winning percentage of better than 78%. Our goal is to produce more winning trades versus losing trades. On that goal, we’re on track.

I have no etf trading opportunities to suggest today. We’ll wait for the broader market to make a move to present some new etf trading opportunities.

Now is a great time to learn all about etf trading strategies we use here. They’re all contained in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading. Seriously, his etf trading strategies have just a few simple rules and you’ll be able to back-test and apply the strategies to the next trading day. Get your copy today!

10/26 – ETF Trading – EWZ

EWZ closed higher yesterday, but not enough to trigger our exit signals. Likewise, we did not take a second short position in the etf trade. An updated chart is posted below.

We may take up to a total of 3 trading positions over the next couple of days. To review, our first position is 1/6 of our total trading amount. Our second position is 1/3 of our total trading amount. Our third trading position is 1/2 of our total trading amount.

Take a second trading position should EWZ close lower than 76.10. Otherwise, our exit signals for EWZ are triggered when the closing price for EWZ is higher than it’s MA(5), or – for a potentially larger gain – when the RSI(2) is greater than 70.

All trades are at the market close. Please trade responsibly.

Put EWZ on your watch list today. Consider taking your first long position should the etf close lower today.

EWZ – The iShares MSCI Brazil Index Fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in the Brazilian market, as measured by the MSCI Brazil Index.

We may take up to 3 trading positions over the next couple of days. Our first position is 1/6 of our total trading amount. Our second position is 1/3 of our total trading amount. Our third trading position is 1/2 of our total trading amount. You could also take positions in a 20-30-50 ratio. All trades are at the market close. Please trade responsibly.

Assuming we get into the trade, our exit signals for EWZ are triggered when the closing price for EWZ is higher than it’s MA(5), or – for a potentially larger gain – when the RSI(2) is greater than 70.

Learn why the Brazilian Index Fund is now a good etf trading opportunity in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading.
