Prices for EWJ and EWY moved higher yesterday. As such, our entry signal did not trigger and we did not enter the etf trade. We’ll wait for a stock market pull-back to trigger some new entry signals. Updated stock charts are posted below.

10/19 – ETF Trading – GLD, SLV, UGL, AGQ, EWJ, EWY

Good morning. Prices for our Friday etf watch list all moved higher. As such, we did not take an initial trading position in GLD, SLV, UGL or AGQ. Stock charts are shown below.

Two new etf trading candidates to consider today are EWJ and EWY. Take your first long position at the market close, should either of these move lower today. The stock charts are shown below.

9/23 – ETF Trading – No Trades Today

Good morning. Our stocktrading entry signals did not trigger for EWJ, and FXI yesterday. As such, we did not enter the trades.

Markets seem to be on hold as we wait for the Fed to make a statement this afternoon. We’ll just wait for the markets to present us with the signals to enter new long etf trades. Patience, dear trader!

9/22 – ETF Trading – EWJ, FXI

Put EWJ back on your watch list today, and take an initial position should it close lower today.

iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (EWJ) seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of publicly traded securities in the aggregate in the Japanese market, as measured by the MSCI Japan Index (the Index).

Also, Put FXI on your watch list and take an initial position should it close lower today.

The iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index Fund (FXI) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index.

9/21 – ETF Trading – No Trades Today

Good morning. Our stock trading entry signals did not trigger for EWJ, XSD, and USD on Friday. As such, we did not enter the trades.

For this morning, futures are suggesting a stock market pull-back. Markets still remain overbought by our measures. But perhaps with a few days of selling, the markets will present us with the triggers to enter some new long etf trades. Patience, dear trader!
