12/28 – ETF Trading – No Trades Today

Good morning. I hope you had a nice Christmas and holiday break.

The market drifted higher on lower volume last week – typical of holiday trading and a “Santa Claus” rally. However, the major indices remains overbought as shown in the chart of SPY I’ve posted. Notice the high RSI(2) value. We’ll wait for a stock market pull-back to trigger new etf trading signals.

All of the signals and etf trading strategies I use are found in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading. With only a few trading rules, clear explanations, and years of tested results, there is no better place to start finding new trading edges than in High Probability ETF Trading. Get your copy today and be ready for the next trading session.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.

I want to wish you, your family and friends, a very Merry Christmas! It’s a special time of year, but one that I think we sometimes take too lightly. Please take some time, with your family and friends,  to reflect on the real reason for the season:

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, King James Version)

Merry Christmas!

12/24 – ETF Trading – FXI

Good morning and Merry Christmas.

FXI moved higher yesterday, and we exited the trade on the RSI(2)>70 signal at the market close. Unfortunately, we took a 3.43% loss on the trade. Recall that we entered the position on 12/9 and then scaled-in to the trade over a several day period.

No other trades to suggest today. Markets close at 1 pm today. We’ll pick up the action on Monday.

All of these etf trading ideas are based on the strategies found in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading. All stock trades are at the market close.

Join me every day as I offer new etf trading strategies for you to follow.
