10/08 – ETF Trading – Gains on USO, SCO

A winning trade on our short oil trade, though our gain was small. Our etf exit signals for USO triggered yesterday and we took a gain of just 0.75%. The leveraged etf trade in SCO yielded a gain of nearly 1.00%. Updated charts are posted below.

We have made 28 winning trades out of 36 for the year. That’s a winning percentage of nearly 78%. Our goal is to produce more winning trades versus losing trades. On that goal, we’re on track.

I have no etf trading opportunities to suggest today. We’ll wait for the broader market to make a move to present some new etf trading opportunities.
