06/25 – ETF Trading – Loss on FXI, FXP

Our etf exit signals for FXI finally triggered yesterday and we took a small loss on our short trade. We lost .39% shorting FXI and we lost 4.01% on the leveraged trade in FXP.

We make a lot of winning etf trades, but, unfortunately, not all of them. A successful trader understands that not all trades are winners, and the goal, over time, is to produce more winning trades versus losing trades. On that goal, I think we’re on track.
