03/03 – ETF Trading – FXI, FXP
Good morning. FXI moved higher yesterday and you took your second short position in the etf trade. Take your third short position should FXI close higher today. Otherwise, our exit signals are triggered when the etf price closes lower than it’s MA(5), or – for a potentially larger gain – when the RSI(2) is less than 30.
FXP moved lower yesterday and you took your second long position in the trade. Should FXP move lower today, take your third long position. Otherwise, our exit signals are triggered when the etf price closes higher than it’s MA(5), or – for a potentially larger gain – when the RSI(2) is greater than 70.
Updated charts are posted below. All trades are at the market close. Please trade responsibly!
Just a comment on the charts – our etf trading signals say to short an etf only when it’s below its 200 day moving average. I use StockCharts.com for the simplicity of creating charts for this blog. Our “StockCharts.com” chart shows that FXI closed yesterday above its 200 day moving average. Yet FreeStockCharts.com – which I use to track our etf trades in real time – shows that FXI is still below it’s 200 day moving average (40.98). I just wanted to point that out for clarification.
Join me everyday to follow these etf trading signals. All of the signals and strategies I use for etf trading are found in the book by Larry Connors: High Probability ETF Trading. His etf trading strategies have only a few rules and you’ll be able to back-test and apply the strategies to the next trading day. With easy to follow trading strategies, clear explanations, and years of tested results, there is no better place to start finding new trading edges than in High Probability ETF Trading. Get your copy today and be ready for the next trading session.
